Disappointed with the Hotel’s Handling of Our Family Stay

− I am writing to express my disappointment with several aspects of our stay, which have caused significant inconvenience to my family despite multiple requests made well in advance. Firstly, I had clearly requested all five rooms to be allocated on the same floor so that our entire family could stay together. This request was made three weeks prior to arrival, yet it was not fulfilled. This was one of the key expectations for our holiday, and it was disheartening to see it overlooked. Secondly, I had requested a birthday cake to be placed in the room. Instead, the hotel sent a single cupcake, which felt inappropriate and quite disappointing. As a result, we had to arrange a proper birthday cake from outside. However, the hotel initially refused to allow the cake to be delivered. After more than an hour of repeated requests, the team finally agreed but insisted on concierge service charges. They also refused to add the charge to the room bill and made us pay immediately, causing unnecessary embarrassment and delaying the celebration. These issues collectively affected what was meant to be a special and memorable occasion for my family.
