The view

− I want to start by stating clearly that this is not a genuine 4-star hotel. Hotel classification in Italy is governed by official, formal criteria (not subjective opinion), and this property does not meet several of the specific requirements mandated for the 4-star category it is marketed and priced under on Booking.com. General condition: - Visibly worn, poorly maintained areas throughout the hotel - Several repairs done with duct tape or temporary fixes - e.g. a broken window near the room entrances covered with a bamboo mat - Numerous marks and holes in the walls - Restaurant has broken chairs, mismatched glasses, plates, and cutlery Cleanliness: - Dirty tray with hair on it found next to clean coffee cups at the breakfast buffet The room: - The beds had no mattress topper and were very dirty - Did not match the standard described at booking - Hairdryer was broken, repaired with duct tape - Bathroom had holes in tiles, loose fittings, and mould around bathtub fixtures - Only small sample-sized toiletries provided; no cotton pads, shower cap, or nail file - Minibar completely empty despite being listed as a room facility - Air conditioning did not work properly - had to be switched on/off directly at the circuit breaker Housekeeping - a specific formal 4-star requirement that was not met: - Italian 4-star classification requires daily change of bed linen. Ours was not changed once in five days (towels were replaced daily) - No laundry or ironing service was available, which is also a standard requirement at this category Staff: - Staff tried their best, but overall service did not live up to what the 4-star category requires Safety: - Fire extinguishers were also missing at several marked locations on the ground floor - The fire extinguisher on the 2nd floor was hidden behind a door that was wedged to the floor, meaning it would not have been visible or accessible in the event of a fire - No lifeguard

Beliggenheden var fantastisk. Der var dejligt nede ved havet med en fin snackbar og en utrolig udsigt. Udsigten fra værelset var smuk. God bådtaxi til Ischia Ponte.

− Hotellet var slidt især værelset. Bruseren virkede kun halvt. Den ene dag, var rengøring ikke forbi. Vi kunne høre alt inde fra naboværelset. Air con kunne ikke indstilles. Strandhåndklæder kostede EUR 5 per styk, og du skulle betale igen for at få dem skiftet.

Ottima la posizione, la vista, il mare sotto la struttura. Il personale è molto, molto disponibile. Sono bravissimi ragazze e ragazze che cercano di assecondare ogni richiesta, dal primo all'ultimo, sempre cordiali e col sorriso. Bravi tutti, per davvero!

− La pecca di questo posto è che manca un po' di manutenzione, dovrebbero aggiustare o cambiare più cose. È strano arrivare un posto così bello e trovare una porta rotta, una doccia idromassaggio che non funziona e altri dettagli del genere. Comunque la bellezza del posto e la gentilezza delle persone che ci lavorano fa passare tutto in secondo piano.. io ci tornerei.
